The reason behind the name is that there isn’t much paperwork involved compared with other, more complex divorce options.
Limited divorce
A limited divorce is like a legal separation. It allows couples to go through their finances and settle matters prior to the finalization of the divorce. It requires the parties to live separately and refrain from romantic contact during the process.
